Jay Flynt - Director of Operations and Instructor
Jay has worked for Synergy Sports Academy and Team Elite Baseball for over 4 years now. He works closely as a Manager for the 15U TES, and oversees the various registrations. Jay played baseball at Delta State from 1995-1996, Northwest Community College from 1996-1997, and finished up his athletic career at Mississippi College in 1998. Jay graduated from Mississippi College with a Bachelors in History, and a Masters in Sports and Recreation.
Jay is from Oxford, Ms, and his specialties include pitching, hitting, and fielding.
Josh Wardrip- Business Development
Josh has been with Synergy Sports Academy for almost a year now. He is in charge of scheduling and field maintenance. He is also an Assistant baseball coach for the 14U Team Elite South. Josh attended Valdosta State from 2013-2014, and is now a current student at Albany State University. Josh plans on graduating with a Bachelors in Accounting.
Josh is from Albany, Ga, and his specialties include hitting and costumer relations.
Cortney McNett - Athletic Republic Coordinator and Instructor
Cortney starts her first year as our Athletic Republic Coordinator and softball coach/instructor. Cortney played softball at Wallace State Hanceville from 2009-2011, and finished up her career at the University of Alabama Huntsville from 2011-2013, graduating with a Bachelors in Kinesiology. Cortney coached under head coach, Les Stuedeman, at UAH from 2013-2017.
Cortney is from Huntsville, AL, and her specialties include catching and hitting.
Cara Law- Instructor
Cara starts her first year with Synergy Sports Academy as our softball pitching instructor. Cara played softball at Wallace State Hanceville in 2010, Darton State in 2011, and finished up her career at Lindsey Wilson College in 2013. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Communication. Cara was then the Assistant softball coach at Saks High School in Anniston, Al in 2014, and the Head coach from 2015-2016. Cara is currently the Pitching coach at Georgia Southwestern State University.
Cara is from Anniston, Al, and her specialty is pitching.
Dyllan Bates - Instructor
Dyllan has a strong background with Synergy Sports Academy, as he played 3 years for Team Elite South. He decided to become an instructor for Synergy Sports Academy after Coaching Team Elite South Youth Baseball Summer of 2017. Currently, Dyllan is pursuing a Bachelors in Math at Albany State.
Dyllan is from Lee County, and his specialties include hitting and catching.
Davis Adkins - Instructor (out until Summer 2018)
Davis starts his journey here at Synergy with an outstanding baseball background, especially in pitching. Adkins played baseball at Darton College from 2012-2014, and finished up his eligibility at Georgia Gwinnett from 2014-2016. Davis has many accolades including 1st Team All Conference at Darton College, finishing with a 1.25 ERA. During his senior year at Georgia Gwinnett, Adkins made 1st Team All Conference, and was an NAIA All American Pitcher of the Year. He will graduate with a degree in Business. Davis currently plays professional baseball for the Washington Wildthings.
Davis is from Cordele, Ga, and his specialties include pitching.
Trevor Bradley - Instructor (out until Summer 2018)
Trevor starts his journey at Synergy Sports Academy bringing in lots of baseball knowledge. He started out at USC Sumter from 2012-2014, and finished up his eligibility at Georgia Gwinnett from 2014-2016. Trevor has many accolades including 1st Team All Conference Short Stop and Player of the Year in 2014 at USC Sumter. While at Georgia Gwinnett, Perfect Game named Bradley an All American as he clinched the Allstar strike out record (81). Trevor will graduate with a degree in Youth Services. He currently played professional baseball for the Washington Wildthings.
Trevor is from Lexington, and his specialties include hitting, pitching and fielding.
Jonatan Galan - Instructor
Jonatan got recruited from the Dominican Republic in 2013 to play at Albany State University where he was a four-year starter splitting times between catching and infield. In 2015, Galan helped the Golden Rams to a Conference Championship victory, where he was named MVP that year. Jonatan has many other accolades including All-Conference and Home Run leader awards. In addition, Jonatan played in well-known international tournaments and leagues representing his country. Galan graduated from Albany State University with a Bachelors in Supply Chain & Logistics Management and is currently pursuing his Masters in Business Administration.
Jonatan is from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and his specialties include hitting, fielding and player development. He also serves as the Quality and Inventory Control of Synergy Sports Academy.
Allen Fender - Instructor
Allen graduated from Worth County high school in Sylvester, Ga in 2010. There, he was part of a region championship team his senior year and would receive the Region Player of the year award, Ray Knight player of the year award and be a part of the Georgia All-State team. Allen would then move on to play junior college ball at Darton State College; he would play there the 2011 season as a starting pitcher. He would eventually end up at Albany State University where he would play the 2014 and 2015 seasons and win a conference championship and pitcher of the year award there. After knee surgery before the start of the 2015 season, Allen would later decide to focus on his studies which would lead to him graduating with his bachelor’s degree in the spring of 2017. In the meantime, Allen would coach varsity baseball at Westwood Schools in Camilla, GA under Jay Flynt during the 2016 season where he would take over the junior varsity program during the 2017 season. He is now working towards becoming teacher certified and has been coaching with Team Elite since the spring of 2017, coaching 12u, 13u and also 16u players.
Every single one of the above named loves the spirit of competition, teaching athletes, and winning no matter the challenge. We the people of Synergy pledge to that spirit of competition to always find a way moving in the direction of success.
